Harpercollins這間出版社的書本我偶然在圖書館看過幾次，還沒有發現過喜歡的。近期在圖書館找書時隨機翻找，發現了這本Syd Hoff’s Danny and the dinosaur系列書籍。

這次我們閱讀的是這本Danny and the Dinosaur and the New Puppy。

書籍為平裝本，輕便好翻，畫風鮮明，線條簡單，圖案搭配用字易懂。書中的Danny和狗狗與dinosuar的歡樂互動，遊戲結束後返家時的落寞，幼童都能夠清楚的從圖案中看出來，用字簡單簡短，我讀給雞腿寶聽時他也沒有顯露不耐煩。故事結尾非常溫馨，雞腿寶睡前總是央求我和他一起共讀這本書。期盼未來能夠將此系列書籍閱讀完。
