《The Rain Came Down》整本故事都貫穿著“The rain came down.“這句話。
場景從一戶人家開始，忙著做家事的媽媽、正在看棒球比賽轉播被雨聲吵到開門的爸爸、哇哇大哭的小嬰兒、院子裡的雞、貓、狗都在叫…
一名警察開車經過，想說這戶怎麼這麼吵，是不是有什麼事情。他把警車停在路邊，正要敲門詢問。

偏偏這條街道路很窄，警車一停，後面就造成大塞車啦。
塞車、雨天，很容易讓人破口大罵、感到厭倦…
一場雨造成了連環的truouble…

當雨停歇，天空抹去陰暗，被陽光覆蓋，出現了一道彩虹。
所有的噪音都停歇了。
And so did the noise.
The sun came out,
and the air smelled fresh and sweet. Everything shimmered,
and a rainbow stretched across the rooftops.

大雨過後，一切都明朗了起來。
人們心情變好了…
原本因為下雨、塞車引起的煩燥也一掃而空啦。
